Last year I got a wireless flash transmitter, and so I called up Mandi….

I miss your face, you are such an amazingly special person. Thank you for being such a huge part of me, and my life. When I look over the puzzle of my life, and the pieces that have been put together, I can say there are huge sections that were put together by you….

Today I have the honor of introducing a guy that I met last year, he was actually my first REAL customer at the barbershop that I work at… and pretty much since that day, he’s become one of the greatest friends anyone could ask for!

Recently Chuck accepted a super awesome job opportunity in Ohio, and needed a few headshot’s to send in, and when he asked me to do them, it made super happy I hate that he’s moving away, I know when God takes someone out of your life, he always has someone to take that empty place, it just sucks when it’s someone that’s really really Amazing, uno? On the flip side, it’s the greatest thing to see God bless someone and take them to the next level of what his plan for their life is.

Chuck, I’m sooo happy for you, I’m praying that God walks with you into this new job, and calms all your fears, and worries. I’ll certainly miss picking at/bullying you as much as I do, haha, but congratulations on your new title sir: Chuck Gibson | Librarian of the Universe

A little backstory on this shoot…. It was like 150 degrees that afternoon, no breeze, 400% humidity, IT WAS HOT!!!!! And these two were sooo tough! Thanks Jacob and Leandra, I can’t wait till September!

Ok, so there has only been 1 workshop that I ever REALLY wanted to go to…one that since I picked up my camera, I told myself, “Shain, we’re saving up, and going to this junk…”  and that was The Image is Found Shoot Shop.

It was seriously like dragging your down-in-the-back business to the chiropractor and having it adjusted Afterwards, I just felt soo much better. Nate and Jaclyn are honestly the nicest/coolest/sweetest couple to meet in the world!

I think sometimes with such fast paced jobs, and so many things taking up our time, and pulling at our attention, it’s so easy to forget our main purpose. I know I’m guilty. It seems like the harder you try to get things done, the faster time gets away from you. Anybody been there?

Earlier this week I went with one of my favorite photogs, Greg Lepera, down to a place in Gainesville, Fla, called Paynes Prairie.

I had such an awesome time! Honestly I know I’m not a nature photog, and I prob never will be, but I got some fun images of some of the animals. It was soo cool to see such amazing animals out in the open! I hope you enjoy these as much as I did
